How do we change the information about our band?
To change the information that is visible on through your account profile. You have to access your account information under the Account Preferences located to the right of your screen. Next, under the about section enter the information you wish displayed and click the update button at the bottom of the page.
How do we update our contact information?
To update your account information click on the My Account Information link to the right of your page. There will then be a section labeled Contact Information.
We want to change the information about our band. Where do we do it?
To change the information about your band click on the account information link to the right. From there you will be able to change your genre, band members, and sounds like.
How do we add a band member to our list?
To add a band member click the My Account Information link on the right of the page. At the bottom there will be a section devoted to band details. Here you can add band members and manage current ones.
Where do we change what our band sounds like?
To change what you band sounds like, access the band details page in the My Account Information page.
How do we change our profile's picture?
To change your profile's picture, select the My Account Information page located to the right.
We don't want everyone to see our profile. Can we set it to private?
Yes profiles can be set to private. To do this click the Privacy & Security Settings link located to the right of this page. Here you can set your profile's visibility as well as your photos.
What's with the points? How do we earn them and can we see how many we have?
Points cannot be redeemed. They are used solely to show how active you are within the Guava Garage community. You can earn points several ways. The easiest is by just logging in to your account. From there any type of activity ranging from visitors to your page to adding new friends helps you to accrue points. These points can be seen through your Points History page.
How can we check to see what we've ordered from Guava Garage?
To view any items that you may have ordered through the Guava Garage system click the Order History link.
What is the User Dashboard?
The User Dashboard is a screen that is used to display a summary of events that are taking place in your account. The User Dashboard displays items sold, points earned, friends, visitors, performance requests, and a graph to show a visual breakdown of visitors to your page.
How do we update our blog?
To update your blog, click on the My Account Information link. Then in the upper right corner there will be a drop down box that displays the available sections in your account. Select My Blog. Here you can add, edit, and delete posts associated with your blog.
Who can see our blog?
Everyone visiting the Guava Garage website can see what is posted in your blog.
Can anyone put comments on it?
Only registered users to the site can place comments within your blog.
How do we manage my friends list?
To add friends to your profle, click on the My Friends link at the top of the page or the My Account Information link to the right. From there you will be able to click the link to add a friend based on their profile name.
We want to add a friend.
To add a friend, click the Add Friend link on their profile page. You can also add a friend manually through your My Account Information section.
We want to add photos to our profile. How do we do it?
To add photos to your profile, click on the My Photos link at the top of the page or the My Account Information link to the right. From there you will be able to add albums and photos. Both the albums and photos can contain descriptions.
Can we place our photos into albums?
Yes you can place all images uploaded to Guava Garage into separate albums. Each album can have a title and description so that visitors viewing your photos can know what they are seeing.
How do we add music/albums to our band's page?
To add music/albums go to the My Account Information page. There is a drop down menu located in the upper right corner where you will select My Music. Here you can add songs, albums, edit, preview the songs, and submit ARS requests.
We'd like to create a playlist and/or guava of songs we like.
To create a playlist and/or guava, go to your My Account Information page and select My Playlist. Here you will be able to select bands and their music to create custom playlists that you can listen to through your My Radio page.
Can we send our playlist and/or guava to a friend.
Yes you can. To send you playlist access your My Playlists page in the My Account Information section. Click on the send link. This will allow you to select your friends name from a list. Click send and your friend will receive a message stating they have been sent a playlist.
How do we sell music?
Begin by adding music to your profile. While adding you will be asked if that item is for or not. If it is not free you will have the option of adding your price.
How do we buy music?
To buy music just click on the shopping cart icon next to the song or album title. You may add as many songs to your shopping cart as you like. When you are finished you may click on the shopping cart link at the top of the page. Then complete the necessary steps to purchase your items and receive a link to download the item you just purchased.
We're going on tour and want to post it on our page.
To add a tour you can click on the view performances link on your profile page or through the My Tours page of your Account Information. When creating a tour event you will be able to state the Tour Name, Venue Name, Location, Website, Time, and any details pertaining to the event.
Can we see who's attending?
You can see who's attending your event by visiting your attending section of your profile page.
What is My Radio?
My Radio is a player designed to allow the listening of songs, skits, playlists and guavas. After clicking on the My Radio link a separate window will open displaying the player. Here you can select playlists or guavas based from your profile or friends profiles. You can also randomize playback, listen to most popular, or by genres.
How do we send messages?
To send a message visit a user's profile page and click on the Send Message link. A window will pop up. Enter the subject and your message and hit send.
We've received a message, how do we view it?
To view messages received through the Guava Garage site click message title on the right side of the page or click the Inbox link. The inbox will display a list of a available messages read or unread.
Can we select what types of messages we want and don't want to receive?
You can select what types of messages to receive. In the Communication Settings page you can select several options that control your messages.
How do we search?
Searching is allowed by all users. However, only registered users can take advantage of the advanced search features like genre, level, and proximity search. To use the advanced search, click the plus "+" sign at the top of the page.
How do we see what other bands, fans, venues, and comics are on the site?
To see the profiles of other members to the site click on the appropriate tab at the top of the page. Click on the Browse link located at the top of each categories page.
